Loved this in the Marin IJ today. Kathleen Solmssen has a collection of her photos of old dolls on display at the Dominican Library. In explaining why she is draw to photograph old dolls, she said in the article, "Dolls are made as we were, as perfect little babies. But we've all had the crap beat out of us in some way."
